FJHC seeks new HOCKEY DIRECTOR

Summary:

The FJHC is searching for a highly motivated individual(s) to oversee all aspects of the club’s hockey programs, including player development, the selection, development and evaluation of coaches, program design and scheduling. The Hockey Director is in charge of the overall strategic direction to ensure a high-quality experience for all players while maintaining alignment with the club’s mission and values. This mission includes the ongoing development of the club and its programs in order to compete at the highest levels of play within NORCAL, CAHA, and USA Hockey. 

Primary Role: 

Under the direction of the board of directors, the Hockey Director(s) will establish a clear vision to advance the organization in all aspects of its hockey programming, including but not limited to Learn to Skate, Try Hockey for Free, Learn to Play, In House, and Travel. The Hockey Director(s) will set clear goals for these programs to enhance the level of play with a sound implementation plan. The Hockey Director(s) will attend monthly board meetings to provide status updates and receive feedback related to the areas of responsibility outlined below. 

Depending on the qualifications and interests of the selected candidate(s), multiple directors may be appointed to oversee different portions of the club's hockey operations.

Compensation:

Will be determined based on the collective agreement between the Board of Directors and the chosen hockey director(s), depending on the agreed-upon duties.
